Lacey Williams

Lacey Williams is a singer-songwriter based in southern Utah.  Her original songs tell the stories of everyday folks; small town hairdressers, worried mothers, or the lucky winner of the Texas lottery.  Lacey’s songwriting has been described as “a melodic sucker-punch right to the heart.” She grew up playing fiddle and bass in a family bluegrass band and her folk and bluegrass roots shine through in her songwriting and her energy on stage.

Lacey is the founder of The Maybelle Series, a songwriting series that focuses on showcasing and developing female songwriters. Before moving to southern Utah, Lacey lived in Nashville with her husband Drew, where she worked as a professional songwriter and musician.  Drew & Lacey often perform together and have had the opportunity to open for Jay Leno, the Steep Canyon Rangers, Collin Raye, and many others.  Lacey’s most recent album, The Apple and the Tree, was recorded at June Audio in Provo and is available on all streaming platforms.
